Dan began his career seventeen years ago at a local salon in La Jolla as an assistant. He was passionate about all things hair but specifically, precision haircutting. Dan wanted to build upon his salon experience and sought out an education with Vidal Sassoon. He trained with the Sassoon Academy in locations all over the globe, dedicated to perfecting his craft. Dan’s artistry and skill set quickly gained him recognition and praise. He began to rise the ranks at the salon and was eventually promoted to manager.

After managing the salon for many years, Dan decided to pursue his dream of opening his own salon. He sought to create a unique, result-driven salon that impressed both staff and clientele. With the help of his brother-in-law, Dan designed and built his dream salon from the ground up. After countless hours of hard work and many sleepless nights, Dan launched Dleux in 2015.
